Today I'm doing a little feature on Ja Ja, from our lovely Drift Collection. Ja Ja is a beautiful swing jacket by Åsa Tricosa, which is absolutely nailed by the details involved - there's Åsa's own Ziggurat method which first of all ensures a great fit across the neck and shoulders; there's the tuck on the back, which makes the jacket swing; there's the pockets, which are a good size without adding bulk; there's the double-knitted hemming for the button band, lower hem, and sleeve hems; oh and the sleeve hems are asymmetrical; and there's the super-cool buttonholes (ideal forlarge feqture buttons). All this with the glimpses of contrast colour throughout - this may look like a pretty simple stocking stitch jacket, but it is far more than that. There are techniques which will challenge you in this pattern, but I assure you everyone who sees this jacket is mesmerised by it, and it is such a joy to wear!
