Today's project gallery is courtesy of Bedale 4ply. This is our delectable baby yak/silk 4ply blend, which with amazing softness and shine creates really special shawls and other projects. It's worsted spun so it doesn't pill in the way that a lot of cashmere blend yarns do (our Hayton 4ply has cashmere in and that's the same - its worsted spun so barely pills).
Anyway, here's what I hope is an inspiring gallery of projects using this yarn.
Holyrood by Justyna Lorkowska, knitted by knittieferlittie in colourways Steel and Alpine (we sometimes have kits for this!); (Ravelry project page HERE).
Love In A Mist by Boo Knits, knitted by thecrimsonrabbit in colourway Geum (Ravelry project page HERE)
(I'm still waiting to hear from her if I can use her image for this blog post but it's well worth clicking through to look at the project page)
Love In A Mist by Boo Knits (again!), knitted by iknitpink in colourway Silver Birch (Ravelry project page HERE).
Ginkgo Shawl by yellowcosmo, knitted by Claireinstitches in colourway Harbour (alongside BFL Sock in Estuary); (Ravelry project page HERE)
(I'm also still waiting to hear from her if I can use her image for this blog post but it's well worth clicking through to look at the project page)
Sugared Violets by Rose Beck, knitted by me in colourway Fuchsia (Ravelry project page HERE)
Wintermute by Melanie Berg, knitted by fruitbat in colourway Falling Leaves (Ravelry project page HERE).
So... most of them are shawls! But this yarn is really particularly good for them!
I hope this has inspired you, and if you have a project to show off, don't forget to tag us on facebook and Instagram as @edencottageyarns and use #edencottageyarns so we can see your lovely makes. You can also join us and show off your FOs over on The ECY Garden facebook page!
