An interview with Jane Burns + her new book release

Today sees the release of a gorgeous new book from Jane Burns called Lazy Sunday Socks. It's a really beautiful collection: when Jane chose her skeins of yarn from us she picked a soft, dusky palette that I absolutely loved, and I was confident that Jane would create textures and designs that would work well with that. She did exactly that. When you see the pairs of socks together you can instantly tell they are from one cohesive collection, and they just look so cosy, appealing, and fun to both make and wear. An interview with Justyna Lorkowska

Hello! As promised, today we have an interview with Justyna Lorkowska aka Lete's Knits for you. EYF & Holyrood

Morning! Today is an exciting day, as not only are we set up at Edinburgh Yarn Festival now, but in conjunction with this we have worked again with our friend Justyna Lorkowska to bring you another celebratory shawl: Holyrood. It works well in two colours, though we've seen some beautiful ones made in more than two colours so it's good for mixing yarns. The first version here is worked in Harewood 4ply in Twig (the dark gold) and Driftwood. Harewood 4ply is our high twist...

If you have any to add, please leave a comment below. Shows are brilliant.. they can be incredibly inspiring and fun, but they can also be overwhelming, exhausting, and confusing. Hopefully these tips will help you get the best out of your trip. Set off early: Look up your route and how long it's going to take. Add extra time for the potential queue getting into the carpark and getting into...
