This blog post is designed as a useful resource for inspiration for a specific yarn. There are projects that use it, and patterns that call for it. It's so handy to have all this in one place!
Just FYI - there are no links to Ravelry here. We've linked to patterns and projects that are available to purchase/view elsewhere. If they're only available on Ravelry we will say that, but not link to it.
Brimham 4ply is is a soft and bouncy sock yarn. The fine merino wool is the same quality as you will find in our other merino yarns with the addition of nylon making it especially hard wearing if it's going to be well-worn and washed a lot. It’s great for a really wide range of projects, especially socks, and being machine washable (at 40 degrees or less) makes it very practical.

The first part of this blog post will give you patterns that specifically call for Brimham 4ply and the second part shows you our projects using this yarn. Do you have a project in Brimham 4ply that you would like us to include? Email us at info@edencottageyarns.co.uk with an image and the pattern information and we will add it. This page will grow over time as more designs are released and more projects finished!

Buain socks by Liz Corke - Summer Harvest
Buain features a lace pattern mimicking an ear of wheat growing up the outside of the sock. Knit from the toe up with a gusset and heel flap, these socks are the perfect mix of relaxing knit and engaging pattern.

Flutter Shawl by Helda Panagary - Campanula with mini skeins in Natural, Compost, Antique Rose, Hydrangea, Fern,
A triangular crochet shawl with an applique design inspired by cherry blossom. The design uses two 100g skeins and five 20g mini skeins.

amefuri socks by Yucca - Apricot Tulip
These cuff down socks have options for a double or single cuff and the leg length is easily adjustable. The largest size uses 260m. This pattern is only available on Ravelry.

Arwen's Chambers by Pajauta Knits - Cedar
Inspired by elvish architecture in Lord of the Rings, these top down socks feature a simple lace pattern and bobbles. A single skein is enough to make the largest size.

Nutkin by Kay Jones - Summer Harvest and Coppice
Inspired by Squirrel Nutkin from Beatrix Potter's novels, these socks feature long lines to represent trees and these are surrounded by acorns. Use a full skein and a mini skein in a contrast colour to replicate the design.
