Soft and drapey British Bluefaced Leicester wool blended with silk in shade Azalea, which is a light, zingy pink with a hint of coral. This batch comes in balls meaning you can cast on immediately!

Azalea can be used as an alternative for hand-dyed colourways Dianthus, Vintage Ribbon, Geum and Azalea.

This yarn is so light to wear, and yet lovely and warm and hardwearing, with gorgeous, rich depth of colour. It's great for a really wide range of projects, and being machine washable makes it potentially a bit more practical, particularly for socks.

We recommend that if you are planning to use a dark colour with a pale colour to make a swatch with them both and wash it to make sure no colour contamination occurs before starting your project. Hot water in particular can make colours run; if in doubt use cool water and no soap/detergent.

Although this dyelot number states 2021, the yarn is a 2023 batch. The labels had been printed in error and are being used to avoid waste. 

We only have these dyelots but our Stockists may have previous dyelots. Find a list of our stockists HERE. There is very little variation in the colour between our mill dyed yarn dyelots, so you should be able to use multiple dyelots in one project. We always fulfill orders from a single dyelot where possible.
