Embleton by Tracey Todhunter: crochet cowl kit
This kit is to make Embleton, which is a crocheted cowl. One kit will make one cowl. The kit includes two balls of Milburn DK in your chosen colour, the print pattern which has a pdf download code on and a printed ECY cotton project bag.
About the pattern
Sometimes it’s nice to let the yarn do the talking in a project, and in Embleton the simple design really lends itself to doing just that. This cosy cowl is brilliantly quick, easy and addictive. It is perfect for cooler autumn days and the cold of winter, sitting nicely around the collar and warding off the chilly wind. The design is also easy to play with and modify, with stripes, different sizing, or a ruffled edging.
Materials
The pattern calls for Whitfell DK but this kit contains two 50g balls of Milburn DK instead which works just as well.
Samples shown use Whitfell DK in Natural and Milburn DK in Steel and Dogwood (made larger than the pattern). This kit is only suitable for a single colour cowl. For striped versions please use the Add-on Kit.
