Keld Fingering in Bark (Dyelot 290525)

Hand dyed superwash merino with linen fingering weight yarn in colourway Bark - a semi-solid, oatmeal-ish, medium-toned brown.

Please note that one skein has a strand that's thicker than the rest - it's just a quirk that's happened during the spinning process and you may want to use it as it is or cut that bit out. Please see photos to see what it's like. Either way this one skein is being sold separately as a 'seconds' at a discount so if you would like it please choose it from the drop down box.

Keld Fingering is a beautiful blend of superwash merino with linen. The linen stands out on medium-dark colours as it doesn't take the dye the same as the wool, so on a lot of colourways it has a marled effect. This gives it a beautiful rustic appearance but it's got all the softness that you'd expect from the merino. It's ever so gorgeous and is ideal for summer accessories and garments, working well at a loose gauge as well as a standard 4ply gauge. If you fancy something a bit different, this is your yarn!

We recommend that you wash dark colours separately or wash a swatch before using dark and light colours together.

As with all hand dyed yarns, I would recommend that you alternate skeins if using more than one.
