A collection of three cosy and beautiful hats by Anna Elliott, worked in the soft and snuggly Whitfell DK (100% baby alpaca) from Eden Cottage Yarns. Inspired by various mints, each one has its own unique style and features.

After Eight

Add a touch of sparkle to your winter wardrobe with this delightful hat. Eye-catching beads twinkle from the figure of eight lace pattern as it dances towards the beautifully shaped crown.

This hat comes in two sizes and is designed to be close fitting so you can channel your inner disco-dancing queen. If you prefer your hat to be slightly slouchier you can easily add an extra lace repeat.

Whitfell DK is soft and sumptuously warm; this stunning yarn comes in nine glorious shades, giving endless yarn and bead combinations to choose from. Pair subtle beads with a paired back neutral for a stylish look or opt for bright and bold combinations to brighten up those dreary winter days.

Kendal Mint

Kendal’s distinctive slip stitch pattern combines two shades of sumptuous Whitfell DK into a rugged and warm hat.

Perfect for wearing low over your ears as you’re striding the fells.
Worked from the brim to the interestingly shaped crown using a rhythmic stitch pattern, this hat is a delight to knit. The slip stitch pattern creates a thick and cosy fabric, perfect for keeping the cold winter weather at bay.

This hat comes in three generous sizes, and the length is easy to adjust should you wish to make your hat slightly slouchier. Experiment with colour combinations, pairing neutral shades for a more subtle look or bold contrasting
colours for a statement hat.

Pepper

Cosy Whitfell DK at its finest. This quick to knit cabled hat has delightful mini cables give this hat the delicacy of the mint leaves it is named after, making it warming but not too chunky.

Worked from the brim to the crown, the stitch pattern is easy to remember and great for those who love to cable with or without a cable needle.

Available in three sizes, the length is easy to adjust meaning you can make yours fitted, as shown, or slightly slouchier if that is your preferred style. Add a contrasting bobble to complete the look.
