This listing is for Carlisle Fingering, our merino singles yarn, dyed to order in the quantity and colourway(s) you request - designed so that you can get sweater quantities (or more). We will dye this to order for you so that you have all one dyelot; we aim to ship the yarn within two to three weeks of your order being placed. If you order pre-order yarn with yarn that is in stock we will ship all items together once the pre-order yarn is ready.

Carlisle Fingering is our superwash merino singles yarn and is soft, smooth, smooshy, and cloud-like. It knits/crochets into a soft, snuggly fabric with a little bit of a fluffy halo but nonetheless good stitch definition. It comes out light and airy but warm and cosy at the same time.

Handwash only and lay flat to dry; although it is superwash merino we really wouldn’t recommend machine washing it.

We recommend that you wash dark colours separately or wash a swatch before using dark and light colours together.

As with all hand dyed yarns, I would recommend that you use two skeins at a time, alternating from each one every couple of rows/rounds (unless it's a one-skein project).
