FFFS! Five reasons to knit this awesome shawl.

FFFS! No not that. This is the Fuss Free Festival Shawl by Louise Tilbrook - if you're in the Everyday Knitter Facebook group you'll have undoubtedly seen posts about this. I've made two, and I know lots of other people have made more than one. So... why? 1. Ebb and Flow - a new collection by Anni Howard

Hello! Today I wanted to tell you about something we've mentioned in our newsletter but haven't talked about on here - Anni Howard's latest new collection, Ebb and Flow, a range of knit and crochet designs inspired by the bleak beauty of the  Essex coastline and river estuaries. Eden Cottage Yarns are used in three of the four designs. Shawl love: Masgot

This is Masgot by Justyna Lorkowska. It's been at lots of shows with me over the past year (I finished it in Nov 2015) and had a lot of compliments. It has a simple construction, is fun and relaxing to knit, and it's great to wear. The yarns I used are: 2 x Milburn 4ply in Steel; 2 x Milburn 4ply in Natural; and 1 x Askham 4ply in Air for the contrast colour. Those are 50g balls by the way. You can find them HERE.
