Shawl love: Masgot

This is Masgot by Justyna Lorkowska. It's been at lots of shows with me over the past year (I finished it in Nov 2015) and had a lot of compliments. It has a simple construction, is fun and relaxing to knit, and it's great to wear. The yarns I used are: 2 x Milburn 4ply in Steel; 2 x Milburn 4ply in Natural; and 1 x Askham 4ply in Air for the contrast colour. Those are 50g balls by the way. You can find them HERE. Acer: a crocheted shawl

Today I thought I'd talk about Acer by Joanne Scrace of The Crochet Project. I know many of you will recognise it as I was showing my progress on Facebook and Instagram in March whilst I was making it. Shadowlines: an architectural knit

Since it's absolutely freezing (which is warmer than many places, but still..) at the moment I thought now might be a good time to show you this amazing thing..    It's Shadowlines by Louise Zass-Bangham, from her lovely book which was released last year, Knit Play Colour.    This cosy and striking wrap is made in our Whitfell Chunky. It's shown here in Natural, which I need to restock, but it'd be lovely in any of the colours. Don't be put off by the marl shades - they do show up cables.
