An Introduction to the Four Seasons Collection Subscription

What is it?

The Four Seasons Collection Subscription is an exciting collaboration with Jayalakshmi (aka Jaya - @jayalakshmimh on Instagram) which will see the release of four designs, one for each season. Four Seasons is a collection of four shawls/wraps inspired by Jaya’s love for simple and meaningful poetry, by some of her favourite poets. Each poem and the associated design celebrate the season while also conveying a deeper meaning and philosophy of life. All four designs use Eden Cottage Yarns in a variety of quantities, bases and weights (laceweight through to aran) to beautifully capture the spirit of both the poem and the season.

Jaya is a knitwear designer, and mother of twin girls living with her husband in India. She believes in designing simple yet elegant knits that are as fun to knit as they are comfortable to wear. We have been working with Jaya for over 18 months now, and every one of her designs have beautifully showcased our yarns so we know that the four designs in this collection will be well worth the wait. What will be included?

For each design, which will be released quarterly, we will be preparing a parcel which will include; a printed copy of the pattern, including a download code for use on Ravelry; the yarn required to make the design; a packet of Birdhouse tea (they're based in Yorkshire) selected by Jaya; an ethically produced soap/skincare product from The Cosy Cottage Soap Company (also based in Yorkshire); and a sachet of Soak no rinse wool wash. Subscribers will receive the pattern ahead of general release with the first pattern due to release on 21st March.

When will I get it?

We'll be aiming to post out club parcels approximately one - two weeks before the pattern release date so that you receive the pattern prior to its official release. Obviously we will always be at the mercy of the postal services around the world.  

How can I get it?

Simply select your location from the product options, add the product to your cart and checkout as usual. You will pay for the whole collection upfront and this will be non-refundable once the first parcel has been shipped.

How much is it?

All club pricing includes shipment costs. Select your location from the options and you will then see the appropriate price. We only take payments in GBP, however a quick google can provide you with an up-to-date currency conversion should you need it, and we take a wide range of payment types: (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, PayPal, apple Pay, Google Payments, Amazon Payments).
