We occasionally get asked “what tension does this yarn knit to?”, and this is information that we deliberately do not state on our yarn pages. There is a very good reason for that - the tension/gauge that you get is entirely down to you, the crafter. I'm sure this will be a familiar story for many of you. You have decided what yarn you want to use for your next project and are browsing the available colours in the collection. You fall in love with a particular colour and click on it to find that there is only one skein available and you need three. It is very disappointing but you go back to look for another colour... You may have seen us talk about "finding images on flickr" in our newsletters, but you may also be wondering what it is and how to use it so we thought what better way to tell you all about it than in a blog post!
