As always, it's been another busy week here at ECY Towers (a small 70s brick house). We finished and sent some heaps of yarn off to Loop in London - Bowland DK, Titus 4ply, and Theseus Lace. We nearly finished an order for Yarnaholic Japan, which includes Theseus Lace, Titus 4ply, and Titus DK. After stormy weather, we finally got a glorious sunny day yesterday. We had a really exciting delivery from Yuki aka Wood Works Crando in Japan (more on that soon... There are LAMBS!). And we welcomed wonderful new stockist, Brit Yarn into the yarny fold this week, as Isla opened her smart new website. As you might imagine, it's all about British wool, British designers, and British business. The website is really clear and easy to use, and if you're looking for Bowland DK or BFL Sock (bearing in mind that I hardly have any myself), do go and see what Isla's got in. There's been much excitement over Brit Yarn on social media this week, and your support for a lovely British business (and she has a rescue dog - Yey!) is so much appreciated and valued. Here's what the website looks like: Finally, if you're in Hobbycraft over the weekend, they have these lovely white plastic baskets which make the most gorgeous planters. Please remember that orders placed from now until Tuesday the 16th won't be posted until Wednesday, because yes, I am having a holiday - a holiday!! So expect a non-yarn blog post from Ireland soon. I hear it's very beautiful, and the cottage has wifi! If you email me, I will probably not reply, but my ever-lovely and awesome PA, Jo aka Shinybees may well get back to you.
