Hand dyed 85% extrafine merino, 15% nylon aran weight yarn, in colourway Clay - this is a soft greyish-brown, darker than Bark but lighter than Compost.

Brimham Aran is beautiful soft superwash extrafine merino/nylon just like the other Brimham yarns. It is as squishy as you would expect from extrafine merino with the added strength of nylon for durability. It is a sturdy yarn which is a good all-rounder and ideal for garments, accessories, and thick cosy socks alike.

Ideally you should hand wash all woollens where possible to preserve their stitch definition and extend their lifespan. If you have a spin dryer you can spin most of the water out of them; alternatively roll up in a towel and stand on it to remove excess water, then lay flat to dry. 

We also recommend that you wash dark colours separately or wash a swatch before using dark and light colours together.

As with all hand dyed yarns, I would recommend that you alternate skeins if using more than one.
