If you are looking for sock yarn, these are the yarns we recommend: the perfect combination of softness and durability. Tempo 4ply is the most durable of them all, with Milburn 4ply following closely. Brimham 4ply and Nateby 4ply need slightly more careful handling (the coolest machine wash cycle or handwash), and Oakworth 4ply is wonderfully hard wearing if you're looking for a wool sock yarn.
