To test out all the yarn bases available to wholesale customers you can purchase a Retailer hand dyed yarn sample pack which can be found on the website HERE. You will only be able to see this if you are logged in to your wholesale account. The pack has several options in the drop down menu so that you can choose the number of skeins and there is a comments box for you to note down bases, weights or fibres you are particularly interested in.
How to order
Account
You will require a trade account on our website to access wholesale pricing. We need your shipping and billing address along with VAT details if applicable. Create an account HERE and then email us to with the account details so that we can confirm acceptance of you as a wholesale customer.
Yarns
Minimum order quantity is 5kg (50 skeins). Only the yarns shown in the price list are available to wholesale customers. Only the colourways shown in the dropbox folder HERE are available to wholesale customers. Available yarns and colourways are visible in the Wholesale products section of the website. For ease you can filter the list to only show Hand Dyed yarns by selecting Wholesale Hand Dyed Yarns from the drop down menu at the top of the page.
Although we do our best to be consistent with colours, please be aware that they are subject to change, and different dyelots may not be exact matches. Each dyelot is produced in multiples of 5. Quantities in the order refer to multiples of five skeins (e.g. Quantity 1 = 5 skeins, 2 = 10 skeins etc). Orders can include different bases.
Placing an order
- Select the quantities of each yarn in multiples of 5 by choosing from the colourways in the drop down menu of each product. One product added to cart = 5 x 100g skeins. If you enter a quantity of 2 you will receive 10 x 100g skeins, and so on.
- A 50% deposit is required to secure your order. Once you have all the items you require in your cart, click "Check Out". At checkout add discount code DEPOSIT50 to pay 50% of the price of the hand dyed yarns.
- The discount only applies to hand dyed yarn, any other products e.g. Milburn 4ply, Milburn DK or Project Bags will be excluded from this and paid in full.
- Payment is accepted by bank transfer or using a credit/debit card. Please indicate which method you prefer when you order so that bank details can be provided if required. Please do not select PayPal at checkout. International wholesale orders paid using Paypal are subject to a 1.5% surcharge which will be added to your final invoice.
- The remaining balance for the order including any necessary adjustments required to the shipping cost will be invoiced once the order is ready to be shipped. If mill dyed yarn and/or extras are to be sent separately that will incur a second shipment cost. The yarn will not be shipped until the final payment has been received.
Timescale
Timeline for delivery will vary depending on order size and schedule availability. For orders up to 20kg our estimated turn-around from receipt to shipment is seven weeks. This will be reduced where possible but orders will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.
Shipping
Since the UK left the EU there have been significant challenges to shipping between the two areas. This has caused major delays to processing times at customs in some countries. International parcels of larger values (e.g. over £150) may take up to six weeks to be delivered.
Orders are shipped via courier, which varies dependent upon destination, but will be a reputable company e.g. DPD, FedEx, Parcelforce etc.
Shipment costs will be confirmed in the final invoice using available pricing at the time. The following pricing can be used as an estimate for budgeting purposes only. Global shipping costs are very volatile.
Where an ‘up to’ weight is stated, this weight is excluded from the pricing level unless otherwise stated, e.g. shipment for an order weighing 15kg being shipped within the UK will cost £12.

These prices do not include insurance (standard compensation is up to £100). If you would like insurance on your parcel please contact info@edencottageyarns.co.uk with details of your order so that this can be arranged by us and added to your bill. Please be advised it is usually expensive.
