Magic Circles crocheted scarf by Jane Crowfoot: Yarn pack only

Yarn pack for the Magic Circles crocheted scarf (or wrap/shawl - whatever you want to call it!) by Jane Crowfoot. This product is for if you buy the pattern separately. The pattern is available on Just Knots HERE.

This is SUCH a beautiful pattern - Jane has used my yarn palette to create just the most perfect project for it. She’s combined the colours really cleverly, and the tiny tassels are the icing on the cake. I honestly can’t gush enough about it. 🤣🥰

The original design was made using Autumn Fields which has been discontinued. We have two options for you to choose from with either Compost or Black Tulip in place of Autumn Fields. Both are shown in the pictures.

Introduction by Jane:

“I love looking at how shapes fit together and have wanted to create a tessellating circle design for some time. Circular motifs can be tricky to fit together and it is common to find the circular shape becomes slightly distorted when motifs are pieced together, so rather than create motifs that are square or octagonal, I designed cross-shaped infill pieces that protect the shape of the large circles.

This pattern was originally written for a blanket, but when I saw the beautiful range of shades available in Eden Cottage Milburn DK range I knew I had to make a scarf version”.

Finished size: 160cm(63in) x 36cm(14in)

The yarn pack includes 17 balls of Milburn DK in the colours required for the pattern in the following quantities:

Althaea x 4
Steel x 3
Wicker x 2
Tea Rose x 2
Compost OR Black Tulip x 2
Bramble x 1
Harvest Gold x 1
Catmint x 1
Thyme x 1

All yarn packs come with the added bonus of a discounted price compared with purchasing the components individually.

We recommend that if you are planning to use a dark colour with a pale colour to make a swatch with them both and wash it to make sure no colour contamination occurs before starting your project. Hot water in particular can make colours run; if in doubt use cool water and no soap/detergent.
