As it says in the title.. Oakworth DK is back! Woohoo!

I've been meaning to do an update of it for ages but other yarns have kept taking precedent and so it's been put off over and over again through no fault of its own.

You can find Oakworth DK HERE, and you can find a blog post of Patterns and Projects using it HERE if you'd like some inspiration for what to make with it.

Oakworth DK is 100% superwash Polwarth wool which is an old breed from New Zealand. It was created in the 1880s by crossing merino sheep with Lincoln sheep; this creates a wool that has the smooth and soft properties of merino but also has the more woolly and hardwearing properties of the Lincoln. Because of this it is a yarn that ticks a lot of boxes! And when I say it's hardwearing I really do mean it - it's suitable for socks which is unusual for a pure wool yarn.

Off the top of my head here are a few things that I'd suggest making with it - cabled jumpers, colourwork jumpers, leg warmers, socks, hats, and fingerless mitts.

This update has gone live at the beginning of December and was dyed in November so the colours are very autumn inspired. I hope you like them!
