Since it's absolutely freezing (which is warmer than many places, but still..) at the moment I thought now might be a good time to show you this amazing thing..

It's Shadowlines by Louise Zass-Bangham, from her lovely book which was released last year, Knit Play Colour.

This cosy and striking wrap is made in our Whitfell Chunky. It's shown here in Natural, which I need to restock, but it'd be lovely in any of the colours. Don't be put off by the marl shades - they do show up cables. I think I sent my lovely sample knitter 11 X 100g skeins but she used ten as she felt it was the right size at that point.

The wrap can be easily sized up or down too - it's worked from and to end in one piece.

Everyone who has seen this has said "wow". I think it's quite architectural and a real heirloom piece. It's also so lovely and snuggly.

As of writing, we do a,so have a couple of these beautiful hand carved shawl pins from Japan in stock. You can find them in the Everything Else section of the website.
