About the pattern
Quick to work up in gloriously soft, squishy Whitfell DK, these fingerless mitts are ideal for a gift or as a treat for yourself. The bold, yet simple to knit cable runs up the back of the hand and the ribbed palm ensures a good fit with plenty of stretch. The pattern is available in three sizes and two lengths giving added versatility to this fantastic knit.
Materials
Eden Cottage Yarns Whitfell DK (DK, 50g; 100% baby Alpaca; 100m / 109yds per 50g skein)
Shade: Lichen; 1 (2) x 50g skein(s)
Needles and Accessories
One set of 3mm / US2.5 double pointed needles (or the size needed to obtain the correct gauge).
Note: Whilst cabling can be done without a needle it is recommended that you use one here due to the complexity of the 5-stitch cables.
Notions
Two stitch markers, waste yarn, cable needle, DPNs or preferred method of small circumference knitting.
