In a supermarket many moons ago I spotted these cute, squat pumpkins called Munchkin Pumpkins, and decided I should knit some (of course!). This simple pattern produces nice rotund, squat little pumpkins, with ridges created using purl stitches.
Bowland Aran (100% Bluefaced Leicester wool) approx. 12g
Scissors and a tapestry needle
Whilst gauge isn't terribly important in this project, it is worth working at a tight gauge of approximately 6sts per inch in order that the stuffing will not show through your stitches; if you are a loose knitter try going down a needle size, and if you are a tight knitter try going up a needle size.
