Magic Circles Blanket by Jane Crowfoot: Yarn pack only - VERSION TWO

Yarn pack for the Magic Circles blanket by Jane Crowfoot. The pattern is available on Janie Crow's website HERE.

Jane initially designed the blanket and used it as the inspiration for the wrap made in Milburn DK. Since the release of the wrap people have asked us for yarn packs for the original blanket and so here they are. Jane used my yarn palette to create just the most perfect project for it. She combined the colours really cleverly, and the tiny tassels are the icing on the cake. I honestly can’t gush enough about it. 🤣🥰

Images of the wrap are from the Janie Crow instagram account and have been used with permission of Jane. This product features alternative colour schemes pairing Compost with Natural and Black Tulip with Rain.

Introduction by Jane:

“I love looking at how shapes fit together and have wanted to create a tessellating circle design for some time. Circular motifs can be tricky to fit together and it is common to find the circular shape becomes slightly distorted when motifs are pieced together, so rather than create motifs that are square or octagonal, I designed cross-shaped infill pieces that protect the shape of the large circles.

Jane has published a YouTube video explaining the joining technique and you can see it HERE.

Finished size: 117cm square / 46in square

We recommend that if you are planning to use a dark colour with a pale colour to make a swatch with them both and wash it to make sure no colour contamination occurs before starting your project. Hot water in particular can make colours run; if in doubt use cool water and no soap/detergent.
