One of the nicest things about dogwalking is seeing tthe seasons changing in more detail. So I thought I'd share what  early summer looks like in Yorkshire.

This route isn't overly rural or anything - in fact we go under the A1 motorway/dual carriageway, but you don't have to walk for long to lose the noise of the traffic.

At the moment everywhere looks really lush and bright green with new growth.

And there are tiny flowers growing in all the shady spots..

There's a variety of grasses, if you look closely.

And we're starting to see more bees, butterflies, and other insects about.

There are buttercups, grasses, nettles, clovers, and all sorts in the more open spaces.

And obviously Luna has to sniff absolutely everything!
