SW baked oats recipe

For context: I'm sure many of you know at this point that I've recently lost just over three stones - and I do keep getting asked how. Well I lost about half a stone myself, then joined Sliming World last year. I really can't recommend it highly enough. I've been lucky enough to join a super-friendly group as well so I've made friends as well as both losing weight and getting a LOT healthier. I still have a way to go but my GP has confirmed that I've already gone from pre-diabetic to not at all.  Anyway, I've recently been...

June's update preview

Seeing as our next update is on the 15th of June (7pm) and it's now the 12th I thought I'd best post the update preview! It's all Tempo 4ply, which is our superwash wool/nylon sock yarn. It knits up softly with good drape for shawls, but it's also incredibly hardwearing for socks and kids' clothes. Early summer dogwalking in Yorkshire

One of the nicest things about dogwalking is seeing tthe seasons changing in more detail. So I thought I'd share what  early summer looks like in Yorkshire. This update will go live at 7pm UK time on Tuesday the 30th of May. Above: Oakworth 4ply in Cottage Originals 1805171211 We do always send out a newsletter a few days before updates as a reminder and it covers more than just the yarn update - we look at new pattern releases, KALs, and other things of interest...

Joji MKAL yarn packs

So.. I'm sure you'll have heard about Joji Locatelli's latest MKAL - the Starting Point wrap. It requires five colours of yarn, which is great for stashbusting unless like me your extensive stash is surprisingly uncohesive and you're therefore struggling to actually put five things together. Anyway, I'm normally very very behind with things like this (I'm talking years behind), so here's a surprise - we have put together some yarn packs for you for this MKAL and it's before the start date! Granted only just, but it still counts. I'll start by saying these are in the kits section...
