Today I thought I'd introduce you to the next Drift Collection pattern in more detail - this is Pimms Cup by Thea Colman. Thea is based in the US, and has been releasing patterns that I have continuously queued. We worked together on a couple of previous patterns - Cardamom Rose and Dubonnet, so I was thrilled that she was up for being involved in our collection. Anyway, Pimms Cup is a slouchy hat, with a lace pattern and optional bobble. It has just the right amount of slouch, in my biased opinion. Here are the details you need: Materials Eden Cottage Yarns Whitfell DK (DK, 100% baby Alpaca; 100m / 109yds per 50g skein) Shade: Dogwood; 2 x 50g skein(s) Needles and Accessories 3.25mm (US 3) circular needles, 30 -40cm (12-16in) length (or the size needed to obtain the correct gauge) 3.75mm (US 5) circular needles, 30 -40cm (12-16in) length (or the size needed to obtain the correct gauge) One set of DPNs in larger size for crown.
