Featuring: Deco Swirl

Introducing: Deco Swirl. This is one of the lovely cowls from our Drift Colletion; designed by Louise Zass-Bangham, with simple but super-effective stitch patterning. Both sizes sit well against the neck, and I think the pattern has a nice, clean, graphic sort of look. Featuring: Hardcastle

Today I thought I'd introduce you to the next featured pattern in our lovely Drift Collection. Hardcastle is a pair of cosy cabled fingerless mitts.. they're beautifully detailed, and what I really love is that because the palm of the hands is ribbed, you get a really good-fitting mitt, which will stretch or contract to the size of your hands (although there are different sizes available too. Here's the pattern information Materials Eden Cottage Yarns Whitfell DK (DK, 50g; 100% baby Alpaca; 100m / 109yds per 50g skein) Shade: Lichen; 1 (2) x 50g skein(s) Needles and Accessories One set...

Featuring: Pimms Cup

Today I thought I'd introduce you to the next Drift Collection pattern in more detail - this is Pimms Cup by Thea Colman. Thea is based in the US, and has been releasing patterns that I have continuously queued. We worked together on a couple of previous patterns - Cardamom Rose and Dubonnet, so I was thrilled that she was up for being involved in our collection. Anyway, Pimms Cup is a slouchy hat, with a lace pattern and optional bobble. It has just the right amount of slouch, in my biased opinion. Here are the details you need: Materials...

Introducing: Drift...

...a collection curated by Eden Cottage Yarns. Today is an exciting day my friends, for we can finally unleash upon you our lovely new Drift collection. After around ten months of work, photoshoots weekend after weekend, an awful lot of test knitting and crocheting, and a vast amount of editing on Clare Devine's part, we are happy to set it free! Let me just tell you that you can see the full collection, with all the photos including 'on location' at most of the photoshoots, in our lookbook. You can also see, queue, favourite, and cast on all of the...

News: Drift..

with only two weeks to go until the digital release of our new collection, I thought it'd be good to introduce it more properly and give you a better idea of what to expect.     So without further ado I will first tell you that the collection is named Drift.. And that the patterns use Whitfell DK, which is our snuggly baby alpaca.    The patterns include crochet as well as knitting.. And the patterns include both accessories and garments - including a kid's garment.. We *should* also be releasing Whitfell DK in Steel and Natural alongside the collection (if...
