This week..

Since this week has been particularly busy and stressful, but has included so much yarn, I thought I'd best share it with the world. It'd be rude not to, really. It's been gloriously sunny for a lot of the week. I've been dyeing a large volume of yarn, as well as dealing with a load of other stuff. My Instagram feed does feature the pretty stuff, but behind the scenes life is full of the usual pressures, plus there's all the hard work that running any business involves. That's Titus 4ply in Grace, above. It's a new shade of light...

Yey for grey!

Happy news! The Whitfell DK in Steel is finally here. We have to label it all, and then the pre-ordered yarn will go out tomorrow morning..    ..The rest of the remaining yarn will be in Sunday's update at 12 noon. I have a very limited quantity, and I'm not sure how long it'll take to get more.     So.. I'd better crack on with the labelling!

They're worked in 4ply with optional beading, and there are multiple sizes for each piece (there's a short cowl version!). Interested? Please go and sign up at our shiny new ECY Testers group on Ravelry!

It's a good match for this heavily perfumed buddleja (ironically not the shade of our Buddleja colourway)... Or how about alongside this sage..     I like it with the vibrancy of this small verbena..    And with the...

Order dispatch: Loop

Loop fans will be happy to hear we have just sent off a lovely big parcel for Loop London. And the exciting thing is that it includes a good range of Hayton 4ply, which is new to Loop. This base is merino/cashmere/nylon 4ply, with about 380yds to each 100g skein. It's very soft and smooshy.   Here's a sneak peak from behind the scenes of dyeing and processing it all. As always, the images may take a few minutes to load, a they're high res and straight off my camera, but hoeofully the yarny goodness is worthwhile.            ...
