The third pattern in the Rokeby series, the Rokeby Hat joins the Rokeby mitts and Rokeby Cowl. All three accessories feature a simple houndstooth motif and the items work well together in mis-matched colours as well as colour coordinated sets.

The pattern uses two 50g balls of Milburn 4ply, one each of Compost and Thyme. I like wearing mine as a sort of slouchy cap, as you can see, but it's really designed as a beanie.

Other colour combinations that work well have been used in our other Rokeby samples. The mitts below have been made in Fern and Charcoal.

Shown in this picture is the Rokeby Cowl in Wicker and Estuary; and Rokeby (flip top mitts) in Dusk and Black Tulip.

Our testers have done a fantastic job:

Marina used Milburn 4ply in Althaea and Black Tulip

Heather used Milburn 4ply in Black Tulip and Bramble

Elizabeth went for a different approach and we LOVE the effect. She used Brimham High Twist in Trans Rights are Human Rights with a Brimham High Twist Pastel Rainbow mini skein set.

Have you made the Rokeby Hat? Would you like to share it on this page? Email us at info@edencottageyarns.co.uk with an image and the yarn used and we will add it.
