Looking for knitting pattern inspiration for mohair??

Eldwick Lace is the fluffiest of fluffy yarns, with its silky core and gorgeous halo of soft mohair.. but what to make with it? There are plenty of options as always, but sometimes we need a bit of inspiration, and pointing in the right direction, don't we?! Once you get going you'll want to make ALL the things! With 400m per 50g skein this yarn goes a long way, and because of the fluff you can use large needles with it and it still creates a warm and cosy fabric. The Crochet Project projects by Sparkles

Hi all, Laura here again with more of my adventures in crochet! You may have seen our recent posts about the upcoming Skimming Stones MCAL from The Crochet Project. I am very excited to take part in this as it is the perfect opportunity to combine crochet and our yarns! This will not be my first attempt at a pattern from The Crochet Project as in the past year I have completed quite a few projects and I would like to share these with you. #FOFriday - is it cheating if it's really small??

Further to my previous post about an old FO that I've only just got photos of, this post is about a much smaller FO which I did actually make this week... and I managed to get it finished and photographed by Friday..!  For now - these are my Lambing Mitts. This is a pattern by Veronika Jobe for Tolt Yarn and Wool - it's on Ravelry HERE.  I made these to test out a new yarn we're bringing out in a couple of weeks - Bowland Aran. We've had Bowland DK and Bowland 4ply (was BFL Sock) for years -...

FFFS! Five reasons to knit this awesome shawl.

FFFS! No not that. This is the Fuss Free Festival Shawl by Louise Tilbrook - if you're in the Everyday Knitter Facebook group you'll have undoubtedly seen posts about this. I've made two, and I know lots of other people have made more than one. So... why? 1. It's super-easy It'd be perfect for beginner knitters, and for more practised folks it's the perfect mindless TV/travel project. I made my first one (HERE on Ravelry) whilst on holiday in Norfolk with a group of ten friends, so I needed something super-easy. As I posted on the Everyday Knitter group at...
