I thought I’d tell you a bit more about our mohair/silk laceweight yarn, Eldwick Lace. We’ve had lots of questions about it so it seems sensible to try and answer them. Want to see our first sparkly yarn??!

This morning I was out in the pouring rain photographing the sparkly yarn I've dyed for Saturday's 7am update... obviously the yarn was kept under the garden brolly but myself & camera ended up stood just outside the edge of it. I had woollies (handknits, obvs) and a waterproof on, and ended up creating a rainhat for my camera out of parcel tape and a sandwich bag. As you do. Aaaaand the third new colour is..

..this beautiful soft sandy gold: Autumn Fields. This came off the back of wanting a gold-ish shade, and being inspired by it going nicely against yesterday's colour.
