Looking for knitting pattern inspiration for mohair??

Eldwick Lace is the fluffiest of fluffy yarns, with its silky core and gorgeous halo of soft mohair.. but what to make with it? There are plenty of options as always, but sometimes we need a bit of inspiration, and pointing in the right direction, don't we?! Once you get going you'll want to make ALL the things! With 400m per 50g skein this yarn goes a long way, and because of the fluff you can use large needles with it and it still creates a warm and cosy fabric. We were disappointed, obviously, but I said let’s release it on Ravelry anyway… we’re glad we did as it went straight into...

Ebb and Flow - a new collection by Anni Howard

Today I wanted to tell you about something we've mentioned in our newsletter but haven't talked about on here - Anni Howard's latest new collection, Ebb and Flow, a range of knit and crochet designs inspired by the bleak beauty of the  Essex coastline and river estuaries. Eden Cottage Yarns are used in three of the four designs. Here's the whole collection together - you can really see the soft, bleak palette and rich textures, and I think they work beautifully with my yarns - I love bleak landscapes and barely-there colours, and find them incredibly compelling. Strood Strood is...
