Spring?!

It's still cold, but the bulbs are coming up, and the days are longer and lighter.. So I thought today's little yarn inspiration gallery should be pale colours. Here you go:   The colours are (L-R):  Top - Blossom Row 2 - Natural and Misty Woods Row 3 - Ice, Apricot Tulip and Air Bottom - Geum, Dahlia, Spring Buds, and Dianthus There's a handy search function on the ECY website:    The search results show up as you type:    Press 'return' to get this view:     Just click on the titles for more yarn info.

Purple Yarn

Yesterday I was in the main office/stockroom and noticed a few purples near to each other, which took my fancy. So today I give you: a gallery of purple yarn.     From left to right (above) they are: Whitfell Chunky in Damson; Malham DK in Salvia; Derwent 4ply in Salvia; Tempo DK in Buddleja; Bowland DK in Buddleja; Milburn 4ply skein in Damson; Milburn 4ply ball in Damson; and Theseus Lace in Salvia.     And of course, they're all over at the ECY website. Or at least they are until they sell out. Then they may or may not be. ...

I have a very limited quantity, and I'm not sure how long it'll take to get more.     So.. I'd better crack on with the labelling!

Why? Well hopefully those of us who love this time of year can help inspire, cheer, and add cosiness to the winter months for those of you who find it difficult. There is much to love and celebrate about this time of year! Mrs Pebs will be blogging about this from now until March next year, but if you look for the hashtag...
