Can we talk about neutral colours for a moment? Firstly, what constitutes a neutral? For me it’s a colour that isn’t leaning towards any particular colour group, if that makes sense. I suppose another criteria would be that it goes with everything, or most other colours. A cosy aran weight knitted shawl: Midnight Sunset

We're very keen on all things cosy right now - winter in the UK seems to shift a bit later every year which is great for us knitters and crocheters who love to bundle up in our handmade pieces. Want to see our first sparkly yarn??!

This morning I was out in the pouring rain photographing the sparkly yarn I've dyed for Saturday's 7am update... obviously the yarn was kept under the garden brolly but myself & camera ended up stood just outside the edge of it. I had woollies (handknits, obvs) and a waterproof on, and ended up creating a rainhat for my camera out of parcel tape and a sandwich bag. As you do.
