Looking for knitting pattern inspiration for mohair??

Eldwick Lace is the fluffiest of fluffy yarns, with its silky core and gorgeous halo of soft mohair.. but what to make with it? There are plenty of options as always, but sometimes we need a bit of inspiration, and pointing in the right direction, don't we?! Once you get going you'll want to make ALL the things! With 400m per 50g skein this yarn goes a long way, and because of the fluff you can use large needles with it and it still creates a warm and cosy fabric. Life after the Skimming Stones MCAL

How did you get on with your Skimming Stones shawl? Did you enjoy the surprise element of it? Personally I am loving it and have particularly enjoyed seeing the excitement from everyone and all the different versions, especially using our yarn packs! So what next? I am very excited to take part in this as it is the perfect opportunity to combine crochet and our yarns! This will not be my first attempt at a pattern from The Crochet Project as in the past year I have completed quite a few projects and I would like to share these with you. In September, I had the honour of being a bridesmaid for my friend at her...

A good time to be British

Here in the UK recently we haven't had too much to feel patriotic about. However with the recent birth of the new prince and the upcoming nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle I can't help but feeling a little pride swelling up inside me. I have especially loved the excited reactions of people visiting from abroad to the news of the new arrival. So with this reinvigorated love for our country I started thinking about patterns to express these feelings and off to Ravelry I went! Here are my favourites and conveniently they could all be done in Milburn...
