That (yarn) time of the month is almost upon us again so I thought it'd be helpful to provide a full preview of everything that'll be included to you can easily see everything together and make plans if you need to. Joji MKAL yarn packs

So.. I'm sure you'll have heard about Joji Locatelli's latest MKAL - the Starting Point wrap. It requires five colours of yarn, which is great for stashbusting unless like me your extensive stash is surprisingly uncohesive and you're therefore struggling to actually put five things together. Anyway, I'm normally very very behind with things like this (I'm talking years behind), so here's a surprise - we have put together some yarn packs for you for this MKAL and it's before the start date! Granted only just, but it still counts. I'll start by saying these are in the kits section...

Bowland DK update preview

 Hello! I thought it'd be useful to show you a preview of Sunday's Bowland DK update... it goes live at 1pm UK time. Here's most of it: I've done sweater quantities of all of it - it's been so long since we did the last Bowland update that we had none left, so I was really starting from scratch again. There are three Cottage Originals batches included. There's also a batch of Sparrow, which is what Lori Versaci used in her Summer Fog cardigan pattern. Those white tags are for office use only - they'll be coming off the yarn!...

The EYF hangover

I have to be honest: I’m still reeling from Edinburgh Yarn Festival at the weekend. I know it’s cliched but it was just so nice. There were so many different accents/languages being spoken and yet it felt like everyone was happily sharing this wonderful experience and so it didn’t matter that there might be a language barrier. In all the people we had through our stall we only had one person be rude – I think that’s a record, particularly given how insanely busy it was.
